                According to Indian Myths , India has a history in the experience of smoking weed . It is a vast country that have different kind of Marijauna(cannabis,weed)  found in different states of India.

     In  North India there are some really nice strains that grow at the foothills of Himalayas. Some of them is Malana Cream(Hashish/Charas).

1) Malana Cream 

 Malana sounds like the finest weed in India . I think probably in the World. Oil you extract out of flowering buds of the plant. The bud is rub between the palms of the villagers hands. Its consist of high on THC content (35-45%) and makes you stoned.Its mainly found in Hilly Areas Such as Kasol(parvati valley) in Himachal Pradesh. It is located 42 km east of Kullu at the height of 1640 meters. Malana requires a cool and moist environment, Kasol is the best place for manufacturing it.

 2) Idduki Gold 

             Idukki gold was the only weed available across Kerala before the 1980s. It has golden brown flowers that were distinct from the leaves that remained green. It has an intense high that often induces paranoia. This was the premium "Kerala Grass" that was available in Madras and Bangalore in the 1965. Most of the weed those days were grown in the hills of Kattappana in Idukki District, hence the name it was.

3) Shilavati

             This another best weed grows near the interior villages of the eastern ghats(The mountain ranges run parallel to the Bay of Bengal.) of India and there are about 6 prominent varieties of this strain.The weed plants grow to about 6 feet high and have yields of over 12 kilos. But, the weed isn't smoked as soon as it was not  dried, rather they are cured for a 12days to 15days, and there is a belief that the taste gets better and smoother over time(about 3 months to 4 months).
